Lower Angels Canal

After Passing through the Historical Town of Murphys. The Lower Angels Canal System delivers

raw water to the City of Angels Camp. The water is used for both Agriculture and domestic purposes.

Utica Power Authorities FERC project # 2699 Delivers Water to the City of Angels Camp and

irrigation users along the system. The remaining water is then used to generate electricity

at the Angels Powerhouse.
